Beatrice Evelyn Davidson of Humble, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2019 after a brief illness. She was 99 years old.

Beatrice was born in Dorothy, New Jersey on December 8, 1919, to the late Andrew and Frances (Tepel) Richert. She was raised on a poultry farm and worked hard along with her many siblings. She married George Davidson on December 24, 1939 and raised their family in New Jersey before moving to Florida in 1966. In 1968, they moved again and made Texas their permanent residence.

Beatrice worked for International Harvester until her retirement in 1982. She was a trustee and board member for the Evangelical Bible Mission to the Philippines for many years. She went on a year long mission's trip, with her sister Edith, and was proud to say she had visited 46 states in America during her lifetime. She enjoyed watching the TBN Christian channel and driving over to the Humble Senior Center for lunch and participating in their various activities. An annual highlight was going to Denny's to get a free breakfast on her birthday. But, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her sweet personality and having an acute memory about her lifetime and being able to share that with others.

She is survived by her son Bruce Davidson and wife Kathy from Humble, Texas, sister Ethel Josephsen of Pennsville, NJ, son-in-law Axel Schmidt of Crosby, Texas and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband George Davidson in 2001, daughter Diane Schmidt in 2004, brothers Charles Richert, Frank Richert and George Richert, sisters Lillian Jordan, Violet East, Mildred (Schaser) Pleis, Florence Allen and Edith Winsinger.

Graveside services only will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 am at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice. To email condolences, please visit the website www.inforosewood.cc.
