Mr. Warren Keith Carpenter 70, husband of the late Edna Claunch Carpenter of Louisville, died Sunday at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville. He was born June 6, 1936 in Washington County, KY to the late Hubert and Florence Rea Logue Carpenter. A retired manager for the U.S. Postal Service. A member of Shively Heights Baptist Church and a member of Harrodsburg and Lincoln County Historical Society. An avid fisherman, genealogist and historian.
Survivors include on son Michael W. Carpenter Louisville. One brother McKinley Ray Carpenter Liberty. Three sisters Carolyn Horn Danville, Ina (Thomas) Russell Stanford and Mary Faye (Larry) Cannada Harrodsburg. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Two sons Gary Keith and Larry Warren Carpenter and one sister Norma Hope Carpenter preceded him in death.
Services were entrusted to Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home of Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
