LAURA R. AMMONS LOGAN, 88, of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Memphis and Ripley, Tenn., retired employee of Woolco and Singer Sewing Machine Co., died Oct. 27 at Archstone Care Center in Chandler. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at National Cemetery. Garner Funeral Home in Ripley has charge. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church for more than 60 years. Mrs. Logan, the widow of Zollie Logan, leaves two daughters, Marti Schmidt of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Peggie Riddle of Gilbert, Ariz.; a son, Zollie 'Dan' Logan of Arlington; a sister, Lela Johnson of Ripley, eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
