The celebration of life honoring Mr. Clyde Dell Perkins Lewis, will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of New Boggy Baptist Church, Bethany, Louisiana with Pastor Lonnie Hamilton, officiating.



Mr. Lewis will rest in the gardens of New Boggy Baptist Church cemetery. The evening of remembrance will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, 2300 Pemberton Street, Marshall, Texas 75692.

The Obsequies

Clyde Lewis Perkins was born January 6, 1984 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the parents of Clyde Perkins, Sr. and Alice Lewis Perkins. His father, and sister Tichina Tyrees Carter Perkins preceded him in death.

Clyde was baptized at New Boggy Baptist Church at the age of 5 under the leadership of Pastor Lonnie Hamilton, Jr. where he remained until his death. He loved working on cars, hunting, fishing, and loved his job on the oilfield in Waskom, Texas.

He leaves to cherish his memories, mother Alice Perkins, 3 sisters Loletha Perkins Jernigan (Charles) of Marshall, Tx.; Victoria Perkins of Waskom, Tx.; Vanessa Perkins Fields (Cedric) of Longview, Tx., 2 sons Daveon Williams (15 yrs old) and Clyde Lewis, Jr. (12 yrs old) both of Shreveport, La., 4 Daughters Shaniya Lewis (11 yrs old), Camelia Perkins Fields (5 yrs old), Camarie Perkins Fields (4 yrs old), and Camryn Perkins Fields (3 yrs old) all of Longview, Tx..

He also leaves behind his nephews Malcom Hubbard of Marshall, Tx., X’Zaivier Haggerty of Waskom, Tx. And nieces Aneeka Perkins of Waskom, Tx. And Zy’Kira Carter of Logansport, La. He also leaves a host of aunts, cousins, uncles, and friends.
