Linda G. Harrah passed away February 11, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House after a long illness. She held many titles some of which were coal miner, CNA, deli clerk at Krogers and even drove a semi. She loved her family and would do most anything for anyone if she could. Her personality more than exceeded her stature.
She was born on February 16, 1946 in Mullens, WV to the late Theodore "Ted" R. Harrah Sr. (1913-1978) and Hester A. Martin-Harrah (1917-2004). In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brothers, Cecil Edward Harrah (1934-1962), Ray Calvin Harrah (1937-1940), Gary Curtis Harrah (1943-1962), Theodore Harrah Jr. (Deceased), and Larry Harrah (Deceased); sister, Juanita Ann Harrah-Whittaker (1939-2018); nieces, Pamela Carol Whittaker-Pruitt-Cobb (1966-2015), and Kathy Tate (Deceased); nephews, Larry "Burger" Harrah (Deceased), Jerry Tate (Deceased), and son Gary "Bird" Atkins (1967-2018); grandson, Adam Wade Atkins (Deceased); and two husbands, Solon Atkins Sr. (Deceased) and David K. Stanley (Deceased).
She is survived by a sister, Janet Harrah-Rife & husband Henry Rife of Van Wert OH; sister in-law Katy, Harrah of OH; sons, Solon "Bozie" Atkins Jr of Beckley WV, Dusty Stanley & wife Carla Stanley of Mt Hope WV; daughter-in-law, Anita of FL; granddaughters, Tessa Walton & husband Eric Walton of Lakeland FL, Tori Atkins of FL, Ashley Atkins of AL; grandsons, Cole Stanley of Mt Hope WV, Zaiden Walton and Silas Walton of Lakeland FL, Wesley Atkins of AL, along with many other nieces and nephews.
