Terry graduated from East Aurora High School and then joined the United States Navy as a Naval Photographer. After his Honorable Discharge from the US Navy, he began working at Western Electric, which later became Lucent, and retired in 1986. Terry greatly enjoyed his trips to Pike County for hunting and fishing and to attend the annual family reunion. He spent a lot of time in his garden growing vegetables that Carol would can and freeze. He liked to grill Sunday dinners for his family and loved spending time with them. Terry was an ornery and good-spirited man, and was always there for anyone that needed him to be.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol; his children, Carl (Caryn) Schultz of Aurora, IL, Roger Schultz of St. Charles, IL, Glenn (Michelle) Beck of Aurora, IL, Kerry Armogida of Rochester, IL, Cathy (Brent) Strukely of Springfield, IL, and Kim Edwards of Pennsylvania; daughter-in-law, Fran Schultz of Montgomery, IL; twenty-five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Jim) Palmer of Oswego, IL; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Schultz; daughter, Cindy Beck; a son-in-law, David Armogida; and a sister-in-law, Georgia Scherer.
