Donald C. Miller of Mequon, WI, entered the Lord's Kingdom on February 4, 2019. Don fought multiyear battles against Parkinson's, Leukemia and Atrial Fibrillation.

Don was born in Ironton, OH on July 14, 1933. Don is a member of the Ironton High School Hall of Fame for his exploits on Baseball, Basketball and Football fields. Don lead his high school Basketball team to the Ohio State Championship his Senior year. He then attended the University of Dayton on a Baseball and Basketball scholarship. Here he earned "All American" honors in baseball as well as playing starting point guard on the basketball team that played in the NIT twice in Madison Square Garden. It is at Dayton that he met his wife of 60 years Janis R. (nee Wenninger). Don served his Military service playing baseball for the Army team and was the 1st round draft choice of the Chicago White Sox in 1954. Playing his way to the AAA level before injury shortened his career.

Don was in sales all his life and started his career at NCR. Shortly after he was hired by Reynolds Metals Company and worked for them for 25 years before leaving and working at American National Can. He finished his career with a short consulting career to the beer and beverage industry he worked in for over 35 years.

Don was an excellent golfer and above average racquetball player and enjoyed all types of sports. He was involved in volunteer work and often was called to load tractor trailers with used medical equipment so they could sent to Guatemala for use in their clinics and hospitals.

Don is survived by sons David, Matthew and Todd (Judy) Miller. His sister Mary Ann. His grandchildren A.J., Marissa, Brady and Dylan. His brother Gary (Sue) Linville. His nieces Shannon Linville Needham and Heather (nee Linville) McBurney. Don was preceded in death by his life partner Janis R. (nee Wenninger) Miller, his brother Robert Miller. His parents Charles and Mary Miller.

The family of Don and Jan Miller wishes to thank all the wonderful staff and care givers at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg WI., as well as all his friends who so graciously spent time to help his stay at Lasata more comfortable until he was re-united in God's Kingdom with his love Jan.

Visitation Thursday February 14, 2019 from 10:00AM until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00AM at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2750 W Mequon Rd. Mequon, WI. A luncheon will follow services at Lumen Christi. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Salvation Army or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
