Laurie Bea Davis, age 56 of Cridersville, left her heavenly body at 3:50 a.m., Sunday, February 10, 2019. She was born April 2, 1962 in Lima to Raymond Hamp, deceased, and Nina Bruening Hamp who survives in Lima. On May 6, 2000 she married David E. Davis, who survives in Cridersville.

Laurie will be remembered for her strong faith and her love of serving her Lord and Savior. She attended Harvest Baptist Church in Wapakoneta. Her hobbies included refurbishing and decorating furniture in farmhouse chic. She treasured her family dearly and cherished time spent with them.

Survivors also include 2 daughters -Rian (Dylan Layman) Griffith of Spencerville; Lindsey Ayers of Cridersville; 3 grandchildren - Samantha Griffith, Olivia Griffith, Kendall Ayers; 4 brothers - Randy (Pam) Hamp of Lima; Bob (Tina) Hamp of Delphos; Todd (Judy) Hamp of Shawnee; Kevin (Jennifer) Hamp of Findlay.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law - Aaron Griffith who passed May 22, 2010 and a brother - Raymond Scott Hamp who passed September 30, 1960.

A celebration of Laurie's life will begin 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 15, 2019 at Harvest Baptist Church, 1301 Navajo Trail, Wapakoneta. Pastor Gary Bragg will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
