Jack was born May 9, 1933 in Tyro, KS to Arnold and Marie Denny (deceased). He grew up in Anthony, KS. Jack has two sisters, Donna Schuster, Oregon, WI, and Joann Craft. He also has a niece, Marsha Walker and nephews, Stephen Schuster, Douglas, Curtis, and Joel Craft. Jack married Yvonne Lawson in 1952 and they had three sons, Dan Arlen, Richard Allen, and Robert Kevin.

Jack graduated from Anthony High School and Wichita State University. Having been in the ROTC, after graduation went into the Air Force, into pilot training. He logged over 12,000 hours as an Aircraft Commander, Flight Examiner, and Instructor as an Officer for the Air Force and retired as a Major. After the Air Force, Jack had several other careers, he flew as pilot Overseas National, he was a real estate broker, insurance CLU, and member of the Leadership Club and The Million Dollar Roundtable for the company New England Life. He was also a stock broker for Bache, Halsey, Stuart. In real estate he owned and maintained over 250 units of rental properties in Oklahoma. He built a 24 unit apartment in Fairfield, CA and house sub-divisions in Mustang, OK and in Texas. During this time he was flying his own airplane. He also owned a ceramic shop and gift shops. Jack was a member of the Sertoma’s, a Civic Club. Jack went into business as owner, operator, of Business Exchange, made regular radio interviews on the Barter Business. He operated this business for 26 years. As an operater he received many company awards. Business Exchange was the first in Oklahoma, Jack built the business from the ground up, as the first operator in the state, also attended Barter Boards. He sold and retired from Business Exchange. Jack had a business called Maps.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Marie Denny; siblings, Joan Denny Craft, Robert Denny, Stephen Schuster, and Joyce Denny.

He left behind family members, Dan Denny, Melissa, Mike and Kara Thompson, Richard and Mila Serova Denny, Marsha Denny, Wesley, Holly, Evangeline, Ezra, Ezekiel, and Erly Denny, William, Jenny, Kate, and Claire Denny, Hannah, Joseph, and Andie Burkhart, Emily, Alison, Holly Faith, Melanie, Hudson, Graham, Dillon and Drew Denny. Jack also had extended family and friends that he loved and they loved him very much.

Jack was a devout Christian and made sure his family raised in the Baptist Church where they lived. Member of the Baptist Churches, from his early life in Anthony, KS to his life in Oklahoma, Texas, California, and Hawaii. Membership is still with First Southern Baptist Church of Del City. He loves God, Jesus and his family.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at First Southern Baptist Church, Del City, OK. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Norman, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
