Arnold Lee Coon, 60, of Jonesborough, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center, in Johnson City, Tenn.

He was born at South Charleston to the late George and Alice Nata Deweese Coon.

He was a former employee of Heavy Machines Incorporated, St. Albans and Gray, Tenn. He was a graduate of Nitro High School, class of 1977 where he played football, baseball and basketball. Lee was an avid West Virginia Mountaineers and Dallas Cowboys fan. Some of his favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing.

Lee loved all of his kids, grandkids, family, and friends.

Surviving are his daughter, Kristal Bacino (Mike) of Erwin, Tenn.; son, John Coon, of Cross Lanes; brothers, George Wesley "Joey" Coon, Jr., of Nitro and Robert Daniel "Danny" Coon of Telford, Tenn; four loving grandchildren; fiance, Brenda Parsons, and her children, Kelly and Michael.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, February 13, at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home, in St. Albans.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home.
