He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Sprague) Moore; his sons, Todd Moore and Mark Moore; his brother, Robert (Susan) Moore; his sister, Carole Welch; his twin nieces, Lily & Lydia Sprague; and several nieces & nephews and many friends.
Ken served in the US Army during the Vietnam War 1965-67, with D Troop, 17th Cavalry. He was a member as well as served as the past President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 20.
Ken and the members of Chapter 20 were instrumental in creating the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Highland Park, which was dedicated in 1996. Ken was former Monroe Country Director of the Veterans Service Agency, and worked with the Veterans Outreach Center of Rochester. He was a lead Mentor of the 7th Judicial District Veterans Court, and was inducted into the New York Veterans Hall of Fame in 2011.
Interment will be held in the spring in Greenwood Cemetery.
