John C. Bain, 61, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his immediate family late Thursday, February 7, 2019. John was born in the Houston Heights Hospital on November 15, 1957. A third generation Houstonian, John grew up in the Heights area and later started his own family of six in Spring, Texas. John was an auto glass installer and repairman for a living but could work on anything that moved including cars, boats and motorcycles. He eventually became a business owner and opened his own auto glass shop. He met many of his lifelong friends through work.

John was preceded in rest by his father, John Roger Bain, and his mother, Billie Marie Lee. As important and influential to John were, his stepfather, Wayne A. Lee, and his siblings, Michael A. Bain and Kathryn A. Vaughn, who also preceded him in rest. John is survived by his four loving children, John M. Bain, Lauren J. Rich, Amy E. Bain and Eric T. Bain and two granddaughters, Kaitlyn E. Rich and Olivia J. Rich. John last lived in the Greenspoint area of Houston, Texas, close to family and friends where he regularly enjoyed their company. He made a lasting impression on so many he met. His family will always remember him as a hard-working, meticulous, loyal and loving person with a witty sense of humor
