Arthur F. Nelson of Southington, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Summit of Plantsville. . He was the husband of Angela “Linda” (DiBiaso) Nelson.
He was born on May 15, 1948 in Southington the son of the late Arthur J. and Jean (Watson) Nelson. Art was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Mitchell Motors of Simsbury.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Michael J. Nelson and wife Marisa of Plantsville, Matthew R. Nelson and wife Audra of Southington and Lisa M. Nelson of Bristol he also leaves his grandchildren Kaylee, Michael Jr., Colin, and Ava. He was predeceased by a brother David Nelson.
The family would like to thank Michael Blanchard, Dr. Joseph Babiarz and staff for their compassion, care and support.
A service will be held on Monday at 7 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home
