Mrs. Hodge was born March 3, 1949 in Rowan County, NC the daughter of the late Dewey Shelton Corriher and the late Virgie Cauble Corriher. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a sister Opal C. Lee and a brother Dewey Corriher.
Survivors include Husband James David Hodge whom she married June 17, 1972. Son John Corriher and wife Billie of Salisbury, daughter Elizabeth Gainey and husband Jack of Salisbury. Brother David Lee Corriher and wife Tina of Granite Quarry, NC. Grandchildren Ashley and Brandon Corriher of the home, Christopher Thompson of China Grove, Arlee, Mary-Kate, and Opal Gainey of Salisbury and step-graddaughter Heather Gainey of Charlotte.
