Rose Marie Douglas Snow, age 83 of East Dundee former many year resident of Houschton, Georgia passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family and under the care of hospice on Tuesday morning, February 5, 2019. Rose was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 14, 1935 and was the daughter of the late George & Mary Brook. She was a resident of Village Green in East Dundee for the past 3 years and led the Village Green Bible Study. Rose was a faithful member of the Highland Avenue Church of The Brethren. Survivors include her sons; Scott (Chris) and Steve (Julie) Douglas, her three grandchildren; Rachel, Morgen (Britt) and Taylor Douglas. Other survivors include her brother; Bill (Carol) Brook, her many nieces and nephews as well as countless good and faithful friends. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her step father; Ralph Paige, first husband; George Douglas in 1983, and her second husband; Warren Snow in 2013. At Rose’s request she has been cremated. Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren, 783 W. Highland Avenue in Elgin. Rose’s family will be receiving friends at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to either the Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren or Rainbow Hospice. The Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee has been entrusted with assisting the family with all arrangements.
