Cartee
Word has been received by John Cartee, 415 East Tenth street, Davenport, of the death yesterday in St. Cloud, Minn., of his brother, Elmer, a resident of this city up until last spring.
Mr. Cartee, was born in Maquoketa Dec. 8, 1891, but he lived in Davenport the greater part of his life. His wife, the former Blanche Deal of New Hampton, Ill. preceded him in death just a year.
Survivors are three children, Veva, Evelyn and Edward; his father, Michael Cartee of Marshalltown; three brothers, John and James of Davenport, and Frank of Troy Mills, Ia., three sisters, Mrs. George Crysler and Mrs. Sadie McPherson of Davenport, and Mrs. Lulu McDonald of Maquoketa.

Cartee Funeral In Maquoketa on Tuesday Afternoon

The funeral of Elmer Cartee, who died Saturday at his home in St. Cloud, Minn., will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., from the Buchner chapel in Maquoketa. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery in Maquoketa. The body was sent to Davenport from St. Cloud and was taken from here to Maquoketa. A sister, Mrs. Ida Riegel of Loveland, Colo., arrived today to attend the services.
