May S. Mason, 85, formerly of Harrisonville, Ohio, died 3:35 a.m. Oct. 4 in Marietta Place Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 3, 1901, in Snowville, Ohio to William and Adelaide Brickles Stanley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hedley Mason Feb. 2, 1955. Surviving are two sons, Paul S. Mason, Decatur, III. and Russell L. Mason, Chillicothe; six grandchildren; a brother, Glen Stanley, Rt. 2, Albany. She was predeceased by three brothers and a sisters. Mrs. Mason was a member of Christian Life Tabernacle, Chillicothe.

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Pentecostal Church, Middleport, with Pastors Phillip Rutherford and Clark Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Wells Cemetery, Pageville. Friends may call at the Fawcett-Oliver and Glass Funeral Home 4-8 p.m. today and at the church 1 :30 p.m. till the hour of service on Tuesday.
