Frank Vaughn, age 79, of Kingsport, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at Life Care Center of Gray following an extended illness. He was retired from Don Hill Pontiac and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Wiley and Agnes Vaughn, sister, Wilma Finney, brother, Giles Vaughn, 2 infant brothers, Wiley, Jr., and Danny Vaughn.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Opal Christian Vaughn of the home, special sister-in-law, Lyla Christian Ball of Kingsport, several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to The Life Care Center of Gray and Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Donnie C. Brannen officiating. The Hawkins County Color Guard and The Tennessee Army National Guard will conduct Military graveside services 11:00 am Monday, June 15, 2015, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Kingsport.
