Carla Yvonne Zimmerman-Simpson, 21, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., passed away on Jan. 3, 2004. She had been a lifetime resident of Arizona.
Carla was born on March 13, 1982, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Donald and Anita Zimmerman. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother and friend. Carla loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed her friends, Harley riding and the pool hall crowd.
Carla is survived by her husband, Mike Simpson; daughter, Lacey Simpson; four stepchildren, Randy, Kara, Adrian and Bailey Simpson, all of Sierra Vista; her father, Don (Beverly) Zimmerman of Scottville, Mich., her mother, Anita Zimmerman of Sun City West, Ariz.; grandparents, Bob and Gentsia; a stepsister, Tonya; three aunts, Susan, Sharon and Maryanne; two uncles, Ben and Bob; and many great friends.
A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at the Hatfield Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at noon on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at the Hatfield Memorial Chapel with Mike Linderman officiating. Interment will follow at the Cochise Memory Gardens Cemetery.
