Feb. 27, 1963 - Jan. 8, 2017 Thomas J. Farris, husband of Ruth Ann Farris, passed away on January 8th, 2017. Tom was born on February 27, 1963 to Elsa M. Farris and the late Albert Joseph Farris, Jr. For the last 10 years Tom worked for Western Exterminator where he was loved by customers and co-workers alike. Tom will also be missed by the community of St. Luke's where he volunteered in youth ministry for many years. He warmed everybody's hearts through his delicious cooking, singing and corny jokes. He is survived by Ruth Ann, his mother, Elsa; children Mike (Erma), Chris and Joe; sisters Annamarie Root (Bryan), Cindy Moore (Donnie), Albert (Pam), Paul (Stephanie); his six grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews with whom he enjoyed a close relationship. We will miss his joyful presence, contagious smile, entertaining stories and continual kindness. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 17 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Casa Bonita Funeral Home, 2500 Cemetery Lane, Stockton, CA. A Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, January 18 at 11:30 at Lakeview Assembly Church, 2111 Quail Lakes Drive, Stockton, CA. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Catholic Church Youth Ministry.
