Joe Allen Henry age 55 passed away Saturday February 2, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born October 22, 1963 in Henderson, TN, the son of Dorothy Ann Williams Henry and the late Clarence James Henry. He attended school at Bethel Springs. He worked at his father’s grocery store in Bethel Springs and then worked in the timber business for a time. He also worked doing lawn care for several years.
He was friendly, and once he got saved he loved to talk to people about the lord.
Mr. Henry is survived by his mother, Dorothy Ann Williams Henry of Henderson and a daughter, Coleen Barthelomew (Colton) of Wildersville, TN; two grandchildren, Olivia Barthelomew and Caden Barthelomew and a sister, Angela Bizzell (Gary) of Bethel Springs.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John and a sister, Rose Marie Henry.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
