A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late William Henry and Americus Blackman Huddleston. His wife, the late Martha Sproul Cockrill Huddleston, died May 1984.
He is survived by a son, W. Henry Huddleston III of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Martha Huddleston Corlew of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, William H. Huddleston, both of Murfreesboro, and Ellen H. Wilson of Nashville; and one great grandson, Jesse Corlew Haines.
A lifelong resident of Rutherford County, he was a retired farmer and business director of the former Murfreesboro Bank & Trust Co. for 49 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be William H. Huddleston IV, Ben C. Huddleston, Henry A. Huddleston, George B. Huddleston Sr., John L. Batey Jr., Paul Willson and Glen Berry.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 today at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.
