He emigrated from England with his parents shortly after his birth to Canada.

1921 census of Kitchener City. 6 years old.

Later in life he got married to Florence "May" Shilling (1923-1966).

1940 has Walter living with his Mother & brother at 184 Breithaupt St; in Kitchener, Ontario.
1963 Walter & "May" were residing at 186 Breithaupt St; in Kitchener.
