Gene Charles Thompson, 76, of Upland died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at Kearney Regional Medical Center.
Services were held on Monday, Febr. 11, at Minden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Peter Choi officiating. Burial was at Minden Cemetery.
He was born July 30, 1942, in Minden to Charles and Dora (Ibsen) Thompson.
On Dec. 31, 1961, he married Carolyn J. Morrow in Minden. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sons, Charles Thompson of Upland, David Thompson of Grand Island and Jeffrey Thompson of Hastings; sister, Shirley Loskill of Hastings; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
