Lillian went to school at Bay City. She married Lee Roy Adams on June 4, 1948 in Bay City. She worked as the Secretary for the Economic Action Committee Director for many years. She was involved in Bay City Church of the Nazarene Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, Church Board, Missionary President and many more. She also volunteered at the VFW Post in Bay City.
Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy, parents David and Eva Layton, siblings Mary, Dorothy, BettyLou, Hellen Marie and Willie. She is survived by her 3 children Lee Adams (Lance), David Barkley Adams (Melissa), and Demice Emerson (Ronnie); 1 brother D. L. Layton (Mary); 3 grandchildren, Jonathan Adams, Nikol Henry (Jason), Sarah Richter (Steven), and 5 great grandsons Jacob, Kaleb, and Logan Henry, and Eli and Evan Richter.

Visitation will be Monday October 15 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Brother Lee Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers are Jonathan Adams, Steven Richter, Charles Layton, Robert Fojtik, Michael Fojtik and Kenneth Fojtik.
