John M. Cox John Melvin Cox, 84, of 3494 White Oak Road, Junction City, died today at Kentucky Veterans Center in Wilmore. Born Dec. 12, 1910, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Ollie Davis and Senny Josephine Rice Cox. He was a retired employee of the Kentucky department of highways and a retired farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and belonged to Junction City First Christian Church. He was the widower of Minnie Case Cox. Survivors include one daughter, Almira Coulter of Junction City; two brothers, Billy Cox of Junction City and James Cox of Louisville; two sisters, Iona Caddell of Junction City and Irene Seelye of Louisville; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Sunday.
