Mr. Walter Lee Flowers, 76, of Union City died Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Union City Nursing and Rehab.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Visions Community Baptist Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

He was born on May 20, 1942, in Kenton, Tennessee to the late Willie and Mamie Flowers. He departed this life on February 5, 2019, at Union City Nursing and Rehab.

He was a graduate of Rosenwald School in Trenton, Tennessee, a member of Visions Community Baptist Church and had been employed by several different families in then Union City area.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Annie White Chambers, Eolise Simpson, Charles Flowers, Calvin Flowers, T.O. Flowers and Robert Gene Flowers.

He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
