Betty Quinn, 87, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at 9:18 AM, Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Willow Care Center in Hannibal, MO.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 11, 2019 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Chaplain Mark Burkey will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.

Friends and family are invited to Betty's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 10:00 AM, Monday until the time of services at the funeral home.

Betty was born on January 13, 1932 in Hannibal, MO to Charles Easley and Effie Kotsenburg Easley.

Betty was married to Robert Edward Quinn on September 14, 1954 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1995.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Randi Widaman (Chuck) of Hannibal, MO, 1 brother, William Easley of Columbia, MO, 2 sisters, Joyce Phillips of Springfield, Missouri and Kathy Shores (Steven) of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, 2 grandchildren Ethan Widaman (Karen) and Amanda McFarland (Mark) and 2 great grandchildren, Bayleigh Widaman and Jude McFarland.

Betty is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and longtime companion, Emmett Herron.
Professionally Betty worked from 1952 to 1983 as a switch board operator, retiring from Southwestern Bell Telephone/AT&T.

Betty loved to spend time outdoors. Whether horseback riding, caring for her flower garden or simply going for a walk, Betty enjoyed being outside. A wonderful baker, Betty made the best casseroles and zucchini bread. Reading, traveling and an occasional visit to the casino to play the slots were a few of Betty’s favorites. Most of all Betty simply enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Betty was an active volunteer with the Telephone Pioneers sewing pillows for the hospital and also volunteering with the food pantry at the First United Methodist Church.

She was a member of Arch United Methodist Church.
