Jonathan is survived by his parents Amy and Jon Thompson of Potsdam; brother Gavin Thompson of Potsdam; paternal grandmother, Debbie DeLorme (Robert Rosa) of Winthrop; maternal grandparents Brenda and Erwin Schober of Potsdam; great grandparent Shirley Andrews of Potsdam; aunts Jessica Schober (Eric Johnson) of Norwood, Karen Cameron (Charles) of Massena, and Jennifer Thompson (Roger Smith) of Winthrop; uncles Roy Thompson (Aja) of Huntington, VT and Adam Thompson of Winthrop, and several other great aunts and uncles and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Roy Thompson; and great grandparents Martin Andrews and George and Evelynne Thompson, Alberta and Orville Dunbar.
Jonathan was born on June 28, 2005, in Burlington, VT to Jon and Amy Thompson. He was an 8th grade student at A. A. Kingston Middle School in Potsdam. Jonathan has been a huge WWE wrestling fan since he was 4 years old. Jonathan had a great desire for sports, whether it was just playing a good game of kickball or throwing a football around outback with his Dad and/or brother. He enjoyed playing modified soccer, baseball and basketball. He was a member of the Junior Bowling League with a personal high score of 277. He loved camping, fishing, being outdoors, playing with friends, being with his family and watching marvel movies. He was a fun loving, outgoing kid with a heart of gold. He would always put others before himself. He had a beautiful smile that could light up a room. Jonathan shared a very special bond with his younger brother, Gavin.
