RE marriage to Cora Derwin: even though the obit below says they were married in Missouri, court records show they were married 08/18/1900 in Calhoun County, IL.

Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Saturday, August 14, 1971, page 7:
   William H. Reeves, 98, of Staunton, formerly of Livingston, died at 9:05 p.m. Friday in Community Memorial Hospital, Staunton.
   Mr. Reeves, a retired miner since 1949, had been in poor health for six months. He was born March 9, 1873, in Elsbury, Mo., a son of the late John and Elizabeth Reeves.
   His wife, the former Cora Derwin, whom he married Nov. 18, 1900 in Winfield, Mo., preceded him in death Sept. 24, 1965.
   Mr. Reeves was a member of the Progressive Mine Workers of America.
   He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Beyer of Staunton, a foster daughter, Mrs. Grace Ruehrup of Highland, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
   Friends may call after 4 p.m. at the Fritz Funeral Home, Staunton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home, Rev. LaVern Golbricht officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Staunton.
