ALICE GRAVES BURKHALTER , 84, of Dallas, formerly of Memphis, homemaker, died Thursday at Christian Care Center in Dallas after a stroke. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. She was a former member of Highland Street Church of Christ and White Station Church of Christ, past president of East High School PTA, a member of the Mothers Club of Harding Academy and the Minerva Club of Rhodes College, and past president of the Medical Auxiliary of Memphis. Mrs. Burkhalter , the widow of Dr. W. D. Burkhalter , leaves a daughter, Alice McGuire of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; a son, Dr. Michael Terry Burkhalter ; a sister, Annie Lee Crawford, and a brother, George W. Graves Jr., all of Nashville, 1 0 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
