Jerry E. Hale, 80, of Mikado, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Saginaw.



Born April 21, 1938 to Edward E. and Anna Mae (Phillips) Hale in Princeton, IN, he was mostly raised in Nogales AZ. On August 29, 1964, he married Janet Craner in Prescott. They settled in Mikado in 1976, and Jerry retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1981 as a Master Sergeant. He enjoyed watching sports, and spending time with his beloved grandkids and great grandkids. Jerry enjoyed nature, often watching the birds, squirrels and other wildlife in his yard.



Jerry is survived by his daughter, Karen (Shane) Moulton of Greenbush, his son, Mark (Betty) Hale of Columbus OH, his daughter-in-law, Vicki Hale of Lincoln, seven grandchildren, Jacci Barkley, Jeffrey Barkley, and Jennifer Barkley, Cassidy Hale, Alyssa Hale, John Stymiest and Eric Stymiest, four great grandchildren, one brother, John E. Hale, numerous nieces and nephews, and very special friends, Andy Decker, Leonard and Heidi Morang, Troy and Julie LeCuyer, and Rob Rowe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Hale on October 20, 2013, his son Jerry Hale on May 22, 2012, his sister, Jean Kolb, and his brother Jack Hale.



Mr. Hale is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Mikado Cemetery, in the spring.
