Gwendolyn Marie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kapke, living near Gladstone, Nebr., died Sunday morning, Dec. 13 1931 at the age of 10 years, 2 months and 26 days.
She had been ill about three weeks from an infection starting in her heel. She was born Sept. 17, 1921, at the family home here.
Besides her parents, she leaves two brothers, Darrel and Dwight, one grandmother and two grandfathers and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 2 p. m., at the Evangelical church east of Gladstone, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Henning and burial was in the Evangelical cemetery in the church yard.
Those present from a distance attending the funeral were Mrs. Arthur Starck, Fort Collins, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Bell, Ord, Nebr., Walter and John Michels, Loveland, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Michels, Philadelphia, who were here on a visit.
