Gwendolyn Irene Hayes, age 83, of Florence, AL passed away on Friday, January 01, 2016. Visitation will be on Monday, January 04, 2016 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with funeral service to follow. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by parents, Onie and Girthel Epps; brothers, Bobby Gene and Carroll Rodgers Epps.
Survivors are husband, James “Jim” Hayes; daughters, Gwendolyn Diane Hayes, fiancé (Michael Netherton, Sr.), Bridget Lynn Hayes; brother, Edgar Ray (Judy) Epps; sisters, Martha “Marty” Queffenne (Charles), Sandra “Lee” Gusek, Shirley Pettit, and many nieces and nephews.
