She is predeceased by her husband Paul Cooper and her parents Ernest and Florence Clinch.

Ethel is survived by her son, Steve (Polly) Cooper; daughter, Joyce (John) Lenz; sister-in-law, Nora Lee Gutridge; grandchildren, Bryan (Lori) Cooper, Erin (Adam) Salter, Jennifer (Garry) Carey, Meghan (Ed) Harder, Kate (Paul) Burns-Milliman and Emily (Phil) Hite. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
