Bonnie Lou Young, 77, of Belvidere, Illinois, died peacefully January 29, 2019 in Rockford, Illinois. She was born in Monroe, Wisconsin on December 6, 1941, the daughter of Earl Ray and Lettie Mae (Hall) Bliss.

Bonnie married her sweetheart, the late Fred Young, on August 6, 1966 in Broadhead, Wisconsin. She worked as a pharmaceutical technician at Catalent Pharmacy in Woodstock, Illinois. Bonnie enjoyed crocheting. She was a big fan of Elvis and loved spending time with her grandkids and family.

Bonnie is loved and dearly missed by her children, Linda (Wayne) Baete, Scott (Brenda) Williams, Gene Young, Donny (Kelly) Young, Allena (Nick) Heckman, and Tonya (Brad) Nation; sixteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; brothers, Donald, Gerald, Duane, and Nathan; and sisters, Marge and Arlene.

A visitation will be from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 5 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, Illinois. A chapel service will follow at Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere.
