Linda Lou was born June 25, 1943 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Alfred and Hilda
(Grummert) Ebke.

She was baptized on August 8, 1943 and confirmed on March 25, 1958, both at Zion Lutheran Church of Harbine, Nebraska. She grew up on the family farm outside of Harbine.

She graduated from Fairbury High School and then pursued a career primarily in banking for over 20 years in the states of California, Nevada, Missouri and Kansas.

On January 16, 1970, she married Robert Hays in Kansas City, MO. They were blessed with two children.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Linda enjoyed time with family, playing cards, and spending time outside on the farm by Plymouth.

Linda Lou (Ebke) Hays, 75, of Plymouth, Nebraska passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Beatrice, Nebraska Community Hospital.

Left to cherish her memory are husband, Robert; son, Mark and fianceé Tamie Schwensen of DeWitt, NE; daughter, Angela Ziemann of Plymouth, NE; five grandchildren Holly Barta and fiancé Jeff Stewart, Kylie (Joe) Widhelm, Bethany Hays, Taylor Ziemann and Travis Ziemann; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Gayle (Marlene) Ebke and Clifford (Linda) Ebke; sister, Sondra Sasse; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Leland; son-in-law, Chad Ziemann, grandson, Richard Barta; niece, Kristen Ebke; brother-in-law, Darrell Sasse; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sherolyn and Jerry Hobson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on February 8, 2019 at the Zion Lutheran Church of Harbine with Pastor Matthew Koterba officiating. Casual dress is requested by the family for the funeral service. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. A family prayer service will be held at 10:15 A.M. at the church on Friday. Closed casket visitation will be held at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and at the church one hour preceding the services on Friday.
