He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Warren Fortenberry, two sons, James O. Fortenberry of Forest and David Fortenberry of Florence; two daughters, Mary Barnes of Florence and Jo A. Crouch of Grenada; his mother, Ruth Fortenberry of Brandon; two brothers, Cecil Fortenberry and Joe E. Fortenberry, both of Magee; four sisters, Mrs. W.P. Blair of Tylertown., Mrs. Hollis Blair of Panola, Mrs. A.L. Carpenter of Brandon and Mrs. Frank Tarver of Jackson; and nine grandchildren.
