Ball Lawrence E. "Larry" Ball and Luna E. Graham Ball are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary.
They were married Oct. 3, 1942, in Roswell. Ball was in the Army Air Corp at Walker Air Force Base, Roswell. Mrs. Ball was living in Artesia with her parents. After World War II, Ball continued his career in the Air Force and retired Aug. 1, 1962. He remained semi-retired working at various jobs until retirement in March 1975.
Mr. and Mrs. Ball celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to Honolulu prior to a celebration with their three children and daughter-in-law: David E. Ball and wife Paulette, of Blanco; Carol R. Musgrove of Farmington; Larry P {should be D.} Ball of Albuquerque; and eight grandchildren.
She died from Alzheimers

BALL -- Luna Ball passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on July 13, 2005 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on January 22, 1918 to Robert Lee Graham and Effie Elta Graham in Oak Hill, OK. She was preceded in death by five brothers; four sisters; and one son, Larry Ball. She is survived by her loving husband; a son, David Ball; a daughter, Carol Daniels; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Luna loved her family and being a housewife. She especially enjoyed quilting and sharing the quilts with her family. Luna was at peace with our Lord Jesus Christ and her life. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 7:00 on Friday, July 22, 2005 at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque.
