Nell Stovall Thompson Shelton of Pulaski passed away peacefully Sunday evening, February 3rd, 2019, at NHC of Pulaski. She was born in Giles County on June 13th, 1923 and was 95 years old.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 6th from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. The funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00pm with David Neal and Tony Gomillion officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bradshaw Cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Bradshaw Centerpoint Cemetery Fund, Don Creecy, 890 Powell Chapel Road, Pulaski, TN. 38478 or First Baptist Church CB Building, 407 South First Street, Pulaski, TN. 38478

She was preceded in death by her husbands Boyd Thompson and Boots Shelton. Parents William Curn and Ethel Fudge Stovall. Step-sons Thomas Shelton and Robert Shelton. Brothers, Tom Stovall, William Stovall. Sisters Estelle Marks, Emma Lee Taylor, Elise Poole, and Lauraine Carvell. Son-in-laws James T. Howell and David M. Rose daughter-in-law, Joyce Shelton and grandsons, David Rose, Jr. and Kirk Shelton.

She is survived by her
Step-daughters, Mary Jane Howell of Pulaski
Joann Rose of Pulaski
Paulette (Calvin) Durham of Decatur
Jean (Charles) Lovett of Pulaski
Nancy (Randy) Dunnavant of Pulaski
8 step-grandchildren and 10 step great-grandchildren
Daughter-in-law Carolyn Shelton of Pulaski.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
