Funeral services for Bob McCord of Round Rock, Texas will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Minister Jason Hollinger and Cotton Hubert officiating. Burial in the Minerva Cemetery in Minerva, Texas.

Visitation will also be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to service time at 11:00 a.m.

Bob was born January 7, 1957 in Stamford, Texas to Robert L. and Marie (Matthews) McCord. He was a graduate of Crockett High School in Austin.

He worked as a construction supervisor with Bailey Elliott Construction in Austin. Bob has lived in Round Rock since 1996. He built and flew radio controlled airplanes and flew drones. Bob enjoyed his 4 X 4 trucks and playing cards.

On Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the age of 62 he passed away in the Hilltop Village in Kerrville, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. McCord.

Surviving are his mother, Marie Hubert and husband, Charles of Minerva; his sister, Susan McCord of Boerne; and a nephew, Scott Skiles of Kentucky.
