Note: I understood from my mother, Mildred Wheeler, that his middle name was Edmund. However, the person, A. S. St.Clair (probably Alfred Sidney?), who gave the information for the death certicate of James, listed his middle name as Edward. When his son, Benjamin died, Ben's daughter, Janie (sister to Mildred) , listed the father of Ben, as James Edward.
