A funeral service in his honor will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home; Reverend Ron Dickinson will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Dodge Grove Cemetery in Mattoon, IL. The visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Anthony was born January 23, 1984 in Mattoon, IL the son of Kim L. Howard and Tonja L. Allen. He is survived by his parents; mother, Tonja Allen of Mattoon, IL, father, Kim Howard of Marion, IL; two brothers, Scotty Hiambaugh of Charleston, IL, William Fite and wife Sabrina of TN; four sisters, Jessica Winstead of Effingham, IL, Kara Williams of Marion, IL, Kailee Howard of Marion, IL, Shelby Howard of Bloomington, IL; maternal grandmother, Terry Dunn of Mattoon, IL; maternal grandfather, Thomas Winstead of Clinton, IL; and paternal great-grandmother, Vivian Carpenter of Charleston, IL.
Anthony was an employee of Just Rite in Mattoon, IL. He was former representative for State Workers Union and later voted as Vice President. Anthony spent his free time discovering new music and playing bass guitar. Whenever he took a break from music, he enjoyed woodworking, RC cars, and fishing. Anthony will be greatly missed.
