DANIELS, Ted John

Ted John Daniels, 70, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at his home.

Ted served in the Army during the Vietnam Era as an Army Medic. He retired from CSX Railroad after 30 years of service. He loved flying his airplane, a 1947 Cessna 140 that he had restored and was a member of the Gene Snyder Airport Board, Falmouth, KY.

Ted was a member of Saint Joseph Parish, Camp Springs, KY. He was a Boy Scout Leader and Explorer Scout himself. He also enjoyed camping, hiking, scuba diving and outdoor projects. Ted was an exceptional artist and master craftsman and known to be able to fix or build anything. Ted didn't know a stranger and was a friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Agatha (Knuehl) Daniels and two brothers, Harold And Jerry Daniels; sister-in-law Donna Daniels. Ted is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen (Gorman); two children, Amber (Christian) Nichols and Erik (Megan) Daniels; brother, Ron Daniels; four grandchildren, Kendall, Chase, Dawson Nichols and Emery Daniels; two sister-in-laws, Linda Daniels and Kathleen Daniels.
