Born on January 11, 1960 in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Russell and Virginia Dagle Parker. He was a graduate of Middletown High School, class of 1978. Following graduation, Mr. Parker went to work as a welder in Wilmington, DE for the railroad. He later worked for DE Hospital for Chronically Ill in Smyrna as a custodian and most recently for John Thomas’s Farms in Marydel as a farm hand, until 1997. Mr. Parker enjoyed fishing playing baseball and spending time with his family.
He is survived by a daughter, Ashley Lynn Parker of Greensboro, MD; a son, Kevin Russell Parker, Jr. of Greensboro, MD; a brother, Keith Parker and Doris of Norfolk, VA, and a grandchild, Kayden “Tuggs” Vonville of Greensboro, MD. He is also survived by a special brother-in-law, Charles W. Long and Jessie of Greensboro; special friends, Lucille Parker and Joseph McKnight and a nephew, Keith “Casey” Parker and Ashley of Jacksonville, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress Street, Millington, MD, where a visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Sudlersville Cemetery, following the service.
