Leslie Osman Gates born March 22, 1924 to George and Ruth Gates passed away February 3, 2019, he was 94 years old. Leslie is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 64 years Arlene King, and one Granddaughter Karen West. He is survived by his two daughters: Terry (Phil) West of Thailand and Anita Gates of Mira Loma, California; granddaughter Christy (Bob) Utterback of Clarksville and one grandson Patrick West of London, AR.; ten great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Leslie was in the United States Army where he served three years as a radio operator, with the 3132nd Signal Service Company and with the 3133rd.

He followed his musical interests as a trombone player with many musical groups, including Military bands, concert bands, symphony orchestras, dance bands and other musical groups.

Mr. Gate's body has been donated to The University of Arkansas Medical School in Little Rock, Arkansas.
