Mrs.Strong died at 85 after having health problems the last couple of years.she resided in Pioneer,La for several years next door to her only daughter. she was survived by a daughter & son-in-law Marjorie Ruth Costello & David Costello of Pioneer,La. 2 sons Jessie Griffis & daughter-n-law minnie of Kermit,Texas. Jackie Griffis & daughter-in-law Nancy of Hobbs,New Mexico. 3 sisters Mattie Cape of Meridan,Mississippi.Betty Gunn of Meridan,Mississippi. and Elizabeth Albritton of Hayward,California many grandchildren and great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by 2 grandsons Jesse scott griffis and Joey costello, Joey passed away march 23 2007 2 months before .also preceded in death by her parents William August Randles & Ida Mae Toney Randles.2 brothers Jim & Willie Randles. she was buried close to her grandson Joey Costello who passed away 2 or 3 months earlier.
