Christopher Lee Adkins, 33, of Freeburn, KY, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at McCarr, KY. He was born January 23, 1981 in Williamson, West Virginia to Charlene Daniels Adkins of Phelps, KY and the late Arthur Dale Adkins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his twin daughters: Ciara & Kiara Adkins; paternal grandfather: Allen Denton Adkins and his maternal grandparents: Walter James & Evia Thornsberry Daniels.
Chris worked as an auto mechanic and will be sadly missed by his family & friends.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his companion: Sandy Dotson of Freeburn, KY; two sons: Dillon Lee Adkins of Phelps, KY, Ian Preece of Logan, WV; two daughters: Kindra Leeann Adkins & Madison Jo Adkins, both of Freeburn, KY; best friend & stepson: Keedon Allen of Majestic, KY; his little buddy: Hayden Ray Thomas of Jamboree, KY; two brothers: Mark Dwayne & Shane Todd Adkins, both of Freeburn, KY; paternal grandmother: Bessie Sullivan Adkins of McCarr, KY; one nephew; one niece and a host of aunts & uncles.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Jones & West Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Freeman & Bobby Dale Wolford officiating. Private interment will follow later in the Dotson Family Cemetery, Bones Branch, Phelps, KY.
