Lee A. Taylor, 77, died on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Barnes & Jewish Hospital in St. Louis MO. He was born on January 28, 1942 in Hutchinson, KS to Melvin E. Taylor and Mildrid R. McCoy. He married Selma J. Shami on Feb. 20th, 1990.

Lee graduated from Garden City High School and attended K-State University and served in the Arm Forces. He owned many businesses such as Lee’s Pizzeria, Christie’s Pizza, Carpenter Service & Taylor Radiator Service. He became a resident of West Plains, MO in 2010. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, fishing & wood working. Lee was a very spiritual man from early on and was baptized at the Church of the Brethren, Garden City, KS.

He is preceded in death by his Parents-Melvin & Mildrid Taylor, Brother-Pete Taylor & Sister-Dixie Allen.

He is survived by his Wife-Selma Taylor of West Plains, MO, 2 Daughters-Kristina (Reggie) Hyatt of Denver, CO & Christie (Victor) Klotz of Holcomb, KS, Brother-Melvin (Jeanette) Taylor of Liberty, MO, 9 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, & 5 nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00 PM on February 9, 2019 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Location of 211 West Main Street, West Plains, MO 66775. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
