Sylvia Ann Walters, 91, passed away February 2, 2019 at her daughter, Linda Renfro's home in Bonham, Texas.
Sylvia was born January 12, 1928 and was a loving, kind and beautiful woman. She was an inspiration to all by going back to school at the age of 37 to become an LVN at Bethania Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas where she retired after 20+ years. She enjoyed embroidering items in her spare time that she loved to share.
She is survived by her brother, Ocie Barnett; daughter, sons and their spouses, Linda & JC Renfro, Jimmy & JoAnn Walters, Danny & Lori Walters and Larry & Carla Walters; and five generations of family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arburn & Hattie Barnett; husband, Isaac Walters; siblings, Mabel, Ina Bell, Jessie, Billy, Alvin & Flossie; daughter, Sylvia Sue; grandchildren, Darren, Connie & Thomas; and great-great granddaughter, Peyton Sharee Sage.
Graveside services will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Byers, Texas on February 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
